Privacy Policy

Fast Forward Strategy Consulting ("Fast Forward", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it, in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to give us, such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the details of an enquiry you send through our contact form or by email. We do not collect sensitive information through this website.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to have a conversation about how we might help, and to keep in touch about that. We do not sell your information. Two service providers handle it on our behalf: Formspree, which receives and forwards the contact form so your enquiry reaches our inbox, and Google Analytics, which is described below. Beyond those, we share your information only where you have asked us to, or where the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how this site is used so we can improve it. Analytics does not load until you choose Accept on the notice at the bottom of the page. If you choose Decline, or make no choice at all, no analytics runs and no analytics cookies are set.

Your choice is remembered in your own browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and you can change it by clearing site data for this site.

When analytics is running, Google sets an identifier that distinguishes your browser from other browsers. It does not carry your name or email, and we configure Google Analytics to truncate your IP address, but it is an identifier rather than nothing. We only ever look at the aggregate reports. We keep analytics data for 14 months, after which Google deletes it.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to retain it only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was provided.

Where your information goes

Formspree and Google are both based in the United States, so submitting the contact form or accepting analytics means your information is held outside New Zealand. Both are established providers with published privacy and security commitments, and we rely on those safeguards when we use them. If you would rather your information stayed in New Zealand, email us directly at contact@fastforwardconsulting.co instead of using the form.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it. To make a request, or if you have any privacy concern, contact us at contact@fastforwardconsulting.co.
