We have had the privilege and honour of supporting the AA, a legendary Kiwi business, with their new purpose, strategy, operating model, and performance frameworks, and setting up new programmes of work to execute on their new strategy. What started out as an initial 3 month engagement has turned into 10 months of inspiring, spirited and rewarding work.
Numerous flights, presentations, workshops, whiteboard sessions, communication briefs, interviews, research and importantly lots of laughs helped to deliver a strategy that was designed in partnership with stakeholders across the organisation ensuring cultural alignment, and which was grounded in powerful insights to ensure the most pertinent strategic problems were addressed. In addition to the core strategy work, we also conducted deep dives into customer experience, marketing, brand, membership, loyalty, product, pricing, sustainability and mobility, the last two we found particularly interesting and rewarding, helping the AA to navigate new territories and business model evolution.
We would like to thank the AA Leadership team, Kath, Phil, Michael, John, Greig, Romana, Jonathan, Simon, Selena and especially Nadine and Mark for trusting us with this very important piece of work, and for being bold and brave during this process to design a plan that ensures the AA has an enduring position in the hearts and minds of Kiwis for many years to come.
We were fortunate to have the opportunity to work with many extraordinary people across the organisation, from the board to frontline staff. Thank you all for your commitment and support through this process. The AA has a wealth of high performing talent, a very strong culture and very exciting things to come. If you see an opportunity pop up to work at the AA, our advice is to snag it before it disappears, as you won't get many opportunities like these coming along very often.
